Vote on Officer Positions at Annual Meeting

Re: Vote on Officer Positions

Date: May 22, 2024

At the annual membership meeting on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 5:15 pm, there will be a vote, as required by the bylaws of the organization, to fill the Vice President position from 7/1/24 through 6/30/25. Carolyn Mosier was appointed to the Vice President position by the Board of Directors to fill the vacancy created by a resignation until a formal vote could occur. Carolyn has graciously agreed to continue in that position and is the official nominee of the Nominating Committee.

The President position will be vacated effective June 5, 2024, and currently there is not a proposed nominee for that position. If the position is not filled by nomination and vote at the annual meeting, the Vice President will carry out the duties of the President until the Board of Directors can appoint a person to fill the President position through the remainder of the program year, ending 6/30/25, at which time a formal nomination and vote will occur.

Nominations may be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting for either the President or Vice President position with the consent of the proposed nominee. Paper ballots will be provided if there is a contest for either position.

Please direct any questions to the Nominating Committee at info@fofpl.org.

Hope to see you at the annual meeting on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 5:15 pm, to celebrate the goals and achievements of the Friends and to obtain input and feedback from members.

Sincerely,
Andrew Eusebio & Janet Weldin
Friends Nominating Committee
